The HTC Sensation Offers More Than Just Great Music Features

just beats by dre, The HTC Sensation XL was released alongside the Sensation XE, as an alternative to the popular original version. HTC Sensation XL is clearly pitched as a device for music lovers, thanks to a range of impressive music features including Beats Audio, plenty of on board storage, and downloadable music widgets.

Aside from its credentials as a music phone, the HTC Sensation XL is also capable of competing with the majority of its rival handsets in many other areas. Below I will look at some of the features of the HTC Sensation XL which are often overlooked in favour of its music features.

Operating System

The HTC Sensation XL runs the \'Gingerbread\' version of the popular Android platform. Although not the latest version, it has been confirmed by HTC that the Sensation XL will receive an update to the new \'Ice Cream Sandwich\' version in the near future. On top of the Gingerbread OS, is the renowned HTC Sense UI. This is HTC\'s custom Android interface, which brings plenty of innovations to the stock Android interface. Some of the attributes on HTC Sense include the ability to assign up to seven different homescreens, along with impressive tweaks in some apps. An example of this is that when using the Sense internet browser, just beats by dre when you pinch the screen to zoom into a website, the text will alter in both size and layout. On most other phones only the six of the text will change meaning you will still have to scroll from side to side to read an entire black of text. With the Sense UI though, the text will resize and reshape to fit the just beats by dre screen so you only have to scroll up and down to read it. This is just one example of the kind of innovative approach that HTC takes to improving everyday tasks, and is perfectly showcased on phones like the HTC Sensation XL.

Camera

The handset is well equipped as a camera phone, thanks to an 8 megapixel unit which operates at a pixel resolution of 3524x 2448 resulting in high quality just beats by dre still images. Unlike its Sensation and Sensation XE counterparts, this handset is not able to capture 1080p video, partly due to only having a single core processor (albeit a powerful offering at 1.5 GHz). Video is instead captured at resolutions of up to 720p which is still classed as high definition, and is still sure to impress the majority of users with its playback quality.

Of course there is a lot more about the HTC Sensation XL that I could cover, but as you can see, it offers premium technology in just about all areas of its spec list. When an Android update is made available for the handset, the user experience will improve even further.
